New molecules and treatments are being discovered at a pace the industry has never seen, yet getting them to the people who need them still takes a decade. The bottleneck is no longer the science. It's everything between the science and the patient.

Arca collapses that gap, applying the same intelligence that is accelerating discovery to the work of getting treatments into people's hands. Our long horizon agents automate tedious, manual workflows so the brightest in life sciences can focus on strategy, problem solving, and novel discovery.

We are a small, talent dense team building in person in New York City, with real customers, fast feedback loops, and a lot left to build. Arca is out of OpenAI's accelerator, and our team consists of staff engineers from Ramp, ex-government officials, and former founders.

You will be the first designer at Arca and own design across the company: the product, the brand, and the foundations both are built on. You will work directly with the founders, turn dense life sciences workflows into interfaces experts trust, and set the bar for craft in everything we put into the world. This is a high upside role with a ton of room for autonomy and growth.

• Work side by side with engineering to make complex AI behavior feel simple and trustworthy, expanding what's technically feasible
• Define novel interaction patterns that translate complex agentic behaviors (multi-step regulatory research, submission drafting, expert review of agent output) into clear, intuitive interfaces
• Work directly with regulatory and clinical teams and turn their dense, manual workflows into product that feels clear and fast
• Prototype quickly and validate concepts with customers before they ship
• Own how Arca looks and feels in everything from the product experience to a billboard campaign
• Establish and evolve Arca's design system, holding the quality bar as the team grows

• Experience designing AI-native products and agent interfaces, ideally as a first or founding designer at an early stage high-growth startup
• Ability to take an idea from Figma to production frontend code in hours, not days
• You have been obsessively good at something and know what it feels like to chase excellence
