Integrations

Connect your existing tools so work flows into Arca automatically.

Overview

Arca integrates with the tools your team already uses. Instead of switching between apps, you can route requests from Slack and email directly into Arca, import documents from cloud storage, and keep everything connected. Integrations are managed from Settings → Integrations.

Slack

The Slack integration lets your team send messages directly from Slack channels to create requests in Arca.

Connecting Slack

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Click Connect on the Slack card.
  3. Authorize Arca in your Slack workspace through the OAuth flow.
  4. Once connected, the status will show as Active.

How it works

  • Forward messages from any Slack channel to create a request in Arca. The original message, sender information, and thread context are preserved.
  • Arca links each request back to the original Slack thread so you can jump to the conversation with one click.
  • Use the Respond in Slack button on any Slack-originated request to reply directly back to the thread without leaving Arca.
  • Comments added in the Slack thread are synced to the request activity feed.

Email

Turn incoming emails into structured requests by forwarding them to your Arca inbox.

Setting up email forwarding

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations and find the Email section.
  2. Add the email addresses you want to forward from.
  3. Arca will send a verification link to confirm each address.
  4. Once verified, forward emails to your Arca inbox address (e.g., requests@mail.arca.inc) to create requests automatically.

How it works

  • The email subject becomes the request title. The body becomes the description.
  • The full email thread—including recipients, CCs, and message history—is preserved in the request.
  • Each request tracks the email source so you can trace it back to the original message.

Google Drive

Connect your Google Drive to import documents directly into Arca's libraries.

Connecting Google Drive

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Click Connect on the Google Drive card.
  3. Sign in with your Google account and grant access.

How it works

  • Once connected, a file picker appears when adding documents to a library. Browse and select files directly from your Drive.
  • Imported documents are processed, embedded, and made searchable within Arca's AI research tools.
  • Google Drive is a personal connection—each team member connects their own account.

Microsoft SharePoint

Connect SharePoint to import documents from your organization's shared drives into Arca libraries.

Connecting SharePoint

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Click Connect on the SharePoint card.
  3. Authenticate through Microsoft's OAuth flow and grant access to your tenant.

How it works

  • Browse and select SharePoint documents when adding files to a library, just like with Google Drive.
  • Imported documents go through the same processing pipeline—text extraction, embedding, and indexing for AI search.
  • SharePoint is a personal connection tied to your Microsoft account.

Ironclad

Connect your Ironclad workspace to access contracts and agreement data within Arca.

Connecting Ironclad

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Click Connect on the Ironclad card and follow the setup flow.
  3. Ironclad is an organization-level integration—once connected, all team members can access it.

How it works

  • Browse and import contracts from Ironclad into Arca libraries.
  • The integration syncs periodically and tracks the last successful sync timestamp.
  • If the integration encounters an issue, error details are displayed on the integration card so you can troubleshoot quickly.

Managing integrations

All integrations are managed from a single settings page. Each integration card shows:

  • Status — Active, Pending, Inactive, or Error.
  • Connected by — Which team member set up the connection.
  • Last sync — When data was last synchronized.
  • Error details — If something went wrong, a message describing the issue.

You can disconnect any integration at any time. Disconnecting revokes Arca's access to that service.
